This is a dinning chair made out of Cortez (Brazilian ironwood) with a linear weave dutch cord seat. The joints are pierced bridal joints (just sounds cool dosn't it) and finger joints. This is a very difficult wood to work with, it destroys blades, is nearly imposible to face glue , splinters, and is toxic. Sounds fun huh.

cherry bench

This is a cherry bench with hand cut mortice and tenons (who wants to make money) and dutch cord seat. the weave is very non-traditional in that it goes all the way around the bench and adds greatly to it's structural integrity. 785.00
